Sports News] In early March, the new Formula 1 (F1) season is set to kick off
with the Bahrain Grand Prix. The season will begin with the Bahrain Grand Prix
on Saturday and conclude with the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix on December 8. Zhou
Guanyu, a Chinese driver representing the Alfa Romeo Racing Team, recently
expressed his excitement for the upcoming Grand Prix in an interview with the
media. He is eager to drive the new car and embark on his
“third-year” career with the Sauber team. The 2024 F1 World
Championship will feature a total of 24 Grand Prix races held in 20 countries
across five continents, making it the longest season in the history of the
event. The Bahrain Grand Prix has been a regular fixture in the Formula One
Championship since 2004, with the exception of 2011. In 2010, the race utilized
a different track configuration known as the “endurance circuit”
layout, which extended the lap length to 6.299 kilometers. However, the track
was restored to its original layout in the 2011 and 2012 editions.
