[Saba Sports News] The upcoming F1 season has
been surrounded by controversy. First, there was the surprising transfer of
Lewis Hamilton, and now Red Bull team boss Christian Horner finds himself in
the spotlight after allegedly engaging in inappropriate behavior and sending
indecent photos to female employees. Following these allegations, Red Bull
Racing initiated an independent investigation, which concluded that Horner had
not committed any wrongdoing. However, some individuals expressed
dissatisfaction with the investigation’s findings. Recently, a document
containing what is believed to be Horner’s WhatsApp chat records and other
related evidence was anonymously shared with 149 individuals associated with
the F1 community via Google Cloud Drive. The recipients included F1 reporters,
other team owners, the FIA, and Liberty Media. Portions of the content have
been leaked on social media platforms, featuring selfies of Horner and screenshots
of conversations. Observers noted that the initials “CH” in the chat
conversations corresponded to Horner’s name. In the discussions, “CH”
engaged in various work-related conversations with the other party and
repeatedly requested video calls. Allegedly, some inappropriate remarks were
also made. Once the improper nature of the conversations became apparent,
“CH” asked the other party to delete the exchanges. The authenticity
of these leaked materials has not been verified. Interestingly, rumors
circulated that British journalists received text messages from Horner’s
attorney, warning of potential legal action if the contents of the leaked
documents were published.
