[Saba Sports News] Richard Mille, founded in 2001
and commonly referred to as “RM,” is renowned as the world’s top
watch brand. It is globally acclaimed for its revolutionary watchmaking
technology and the creation of highly intricate tourbillon watches. Ahead of
the Bahrain Grand Prix, McLaren driver Lando Norris acquired an exceptionally
rare Richard Mille watch for $430,000. Norris believes that the timepiece will
serve as a lucky charm as he aims for his first Grand Prix victory. The Richard
Mille RM67-02 “Qatar” is an extremely exclusive model within the
Richard Mille series. It features a 38mm case with a screw-in crown. The
“Qatar” model is the lightest self-winding watch ever produced by the
Swiss watchmaker, weighing only 32 grams. It is powered by the brand’s
COSC-certified CRMA7 movement, ensuring professional precision. The case is
constructed using quartz TPT® and carbon TPT®, providing an ultra-lightweight
feel and finish. Richard Mille considers this watch to be perfect for any
sport. The design of the RM67-02 draws inspiration from the achievements of
Qatari high jumper Mutaz Barshim, who shared a gold medal with Italy’s
Gianmarco Tamberi at the 2020 Tokyo Olympics.
