Sports News] After winning the F1 Bahrain Grand Prix, Max Verstappen of Red
Bull Racing expressed his support for team leader Christian Horner, who has
been facing a sexual harassment scandal. Verstappen was asked by the media if
he still trusted Horner, to which he replied, “There is no doubt about it.
When I see the way Horner operates in the team, he is definitely an incredible
team leader. Judging from his performance, this is absolute.” During the
offseason, an internal employee at Red Bull accused Horner of sexual
harassment, leading to an independent investigation. The investigation concluded
with the dismissal of the charges and found no wrongdoing on Horner’s part.
However, the details of the investigation were not made public to protect
privacy. Horner has been serving as the team principal for Red Bull Racing
since its inception in 2005. At the age of 30, he became the youngest F1 team
principal at the time. Under his leadership, Red Bull has achieved great
success, winning six constructors’ world championships and seven drivers’ world
championships in the past 20 years. Verstappen’s statement shows his unwavering
support for Horner despite the recent controversy.
