[Saba Sports News] The Miami Heat are bolstering their lineup by bringing in former NBA champion Patty Mills, a seasoned point guard who, according to ESPN’s Adrian Wojnarowski, is set to join the team.
Recently released by the Atlanta Hawks, Mills will join the Heat in time to be part of their playoff roster. Known for his sharpshooting, Mills maintains a solid three-point shooting percentage this season, consistent with his career average.
Having spent a significant part of his career with the San Antonio Spurs, where he won a championship in 2014, Mills is expected to enhance Miami’s bench with his shooting prowess. As of Tuesday, the Heat were positioned seventh in the Eastern Conference standings.
