India has recently announced the distribution of cash rewards to players who
have achieved success in major international events. The recipients of these
rewards include participants in the Asian Games, the Badminton Asian Team
Championship (BATC), and the Badminton World Youth Championship. The Indian
women’s team, which made history by winning the BATC crown for the first time,
will receive a bonus of 3.5 million rupees. Satwiksairaj Rankireddy and Chirag
Shetty, the men’s doubles team who won the gold medal at the 2022 Asian Games,
will receive 12 lakh rupees. HS Prannoy, the men’s singles bronze medalist at
the 2022 Asian Games, will receive 5 lakh rupees. The Indian men’s team, which
won the silver medal at the 2022 Asian Games, will be awarded a total of 40
lakhs rupees. Sanjay Mishra, the general secretary of the Badminton Association
of India, expressed that badminton in India is flourishing, and this
achievement is a result of the hard work and dedication of the athletes and
support staff. The Badminton Association of India has consistently been at the
