[Saba Sports News] Golden State Warriors’ point guard Steph Curry showed a look of disappointment on Wednesday when teammate Draymond Green was ejected from the game.
Green was thrown out just three minutes into the Warriors’ 101-93 victory over the Orlando Magic at Kia Center in Orlando, Fla.
The ejection came after Green received a technical for disputing a foul called on Warriors’ swingman Andrew Wiggins, which resulted in an and-1 for the Magic. Despite being warned, Green continued to argue with the referee, leading to a second technical and automatic ejection.
This incident marked Green’s fourth ejection of the season, and it closely followed a 12-game suspension he served earlier in the season for similar on-court flare-ups.
Fans noticed Curry’s disappointment at Green’s ejection, especially given the Warriors’ intense battle for a playoff spot against the Houston Rockets, who are currently on a 10-game winning streak.
Despite a less-than-efficient performance against the Magic, Curry managed to seal the victory for the Warriors with a crucial shot, finishing the game with 17 points and 10 assists on 6/18 shooting from the field.
