[Saba Sports News] At the IPL 2024 match between Chennai Super Kings (CSK) and Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) at Rajiv Gandhi International Stadium in Hyderabad, a CSK supporter, Junaid Ahmed, encountered a frustrating situation.
Despite purchasing a ticket for INR 4500, Ahmed was left without a seat. He was assigned seat number J66, but upon arrival, discovered that such a seat did not exist, with seat numbers jumping from J65 to J67. He documented his ordeal with video and photo evidence and sought a refund or compensation on ‘X’ (previously known as Twitter), highlighting his dissatisfaction and the inconvenience faced.
In the match, Sunrisers Hyderabad secured a comfortable six-wicket victory over CSK. The team’s pursuit of 166 was spearheaded by Abhishek Sharma with a quick 37 off 12 balls, Aiden Markram’s 50 off 36, and a valuable 31 off 24 by Travis Head. SRH’s bowling, led by Pat Cummins, kept CSK’s scoring in check, with Bhuvneshwar Kumar and Shahbaz Ahmed taking crucial wickets.
Despite Shivam Dube’s aggressive 45 off 24 balls pushing CSK to a promising position, Cummins’ crucial wicket of Dube helped SRH limit CSK to 165/5, ensuring a win for Hyderabad.
