Sports News] According to British media reports, Jadon Sancho has missed
several training sessions with the youth team. However, he has not been fined
by the club for these absences, and he continues to receive his full salary. It
is mentioned that every time Sancho misses training, there appears to be a
reason for his absence, such as illness. After being dropped from the
Manchester United first team by manager Erik ten Hag, Sancho has been training
with the youth academy. In early September, following Manchester United’s 1-3
defeat to Arsenal, Ten Hag stated that Sancho was excluded from the squad due
to poor training performances. However, Sancho publicly refuted this claim on
social media. Ten Hag subsequently requested an apology from Sancho, but the
player refused. As a result, Sancho was expelled from the first team and even
denied the opportunity to dine with them in the canteen. Sancho joined
Manchester United from Borussia Dortmund in July 2021 for a transfer fee of £79
million. Since the conflict with Ten Hag, Sancho has not played in any matches
for three and a half months, while still earning a weekly salary of £275,000.
Some may view this situation as a waste of Manchester United’s financial
resources. It is suggested that, in the editor’s opinion, perhaps a departure
from the club would be the best solution to resolve the ongoing issues between
Sancho and Manchester United.
