[Saba Sports News] The Legends League Cricket (LLC) commissioner has served S Sreesanth a legal notice, alleging that the fast-bowler breached his contract while playing in the tournament.
Sreesanth engaged in a war of words with Gautam Gambhir in the eliminator clash of the LLC 2023 between Gujarat Titans and India Capitals.
Playing for India Capitals, Gambhir smashed Sreesanth for a six and a four during the match. Things got heated up after this as an ugly spat between the duo ensued.
Later on Instagram, Sreesanth put his side of the story out, claiming that Gambhir called him a ‘fixer’, referring to the infamous IPL 2013 spot-fixing scandal wherein the pacer’s involvement resulted in him getting banned by the BCCI for seven years.
These comments have caused the trouble for Sreesanth as the LLC on issuing a legal notice also stated that it will only initiate talks with him after takes down his videos on Gambhir’s criticism within the preview of the league.
The umpires submitted their report on the Sreesanth versus Gambhir saga and there was no mention of the former getting called a ‘fixer’.
