[Saba Sports News] During the Champions League group
stage matches this week, Paris Saint-Germain, a French Ligue 1 team, will be
facing AC Milan, a Serie A team, at home. Prior to the game, both teams engaged
in warm-up activities. However, the presence of Gianluigi Donnarumma, who now
plays for Paris Saint-Germain, was met with boos from AC Milan fans.
Donnarumma, a former AC Milan player, faced backlash from the fans as he chose
not to continue with AC Milan and joined Paris Saint-Germain instead. Milan and
Paris Saint-Germain are the only two teams that Donnarumma has played for in
his career. Having come through Milan’s youth training system and becoming a
key player, Donnarumma became a free agent after establishing himself as a
world-class talent. His move to Paris was viewed negatively by many AC Milan
fans, who believed that he prioritised money over loyalty to the club.
