[Saba Sports News] With one game left in the first half of the tour, six players, including stars Rohit Sharma and Virat Kohli, have arrived in Colombo. Rohit traveled from the USA to join the team, checking into the ITC Ratnadipa Hotel on Sunday night after a personal trip.
Sources reveal that the ODI squad will have a net session at the R. Premadasa Stadium on Monday, supervised by assistant coach Abhishek Nayar, who traveled from Kandy after the second T20I.
The rest of the ODI squad, currently playing T20Is, will join after the final T20I on July 30. India has already clinched the T20I series with a 2-0 lead.
The ODI series kicks off in Colombo on August 2 and will wrap up on August 7, with all matches held in the capital. Head coach Gautam Gambhir mentioned plans to finalize the coaching staff during this tour, with a possible addition of a dedicated spin bowling coach.
