[Saba Sports News] Indian skipper Rohit Sharma was spotted cruising through South Mumbai in his striking blue Lamborghini Urus. Known for his love of cars, Rohit was seen enjoying some quality time behind the wheel, attracting attention from passersby who quickly captured the moment.
Interestingly, the number plate on his Lamborghini ends in 0264, reflecting his highest individual score in ODIs—a record-breaking 173-ball knock against Sri Lanka at Eden Gardens in 2014.
Rohit, often busy with his packed cricketing schedule, was also seen wearing the Indian team’s T20I practice jersey, made for the T20 World Cup where he led India to victory, securing his first T20 World Cup title as captain.
In other news, BCCI secretary Jay Shah announced that Rohit and his close friend Virat Kohli won’t be required to participate in the Duleep Trophy to avoid the risk of injury.
Shah emphasized the need to treat such players with respect, noting that international stars in countries like Australia and England aren’t always expected to play domestic cricket. Both Rohit and Kohli will join the squad for the upcoming three-match Test series against Bangladesh, starting in September.
