[Saba Sports News] Deandra Dottin has been included in the West Indies squad for the upcoming T20 World Cup, just a month after reversing her international retirement. Dottin, who holds the record for the fastest century in women’s T20Is, had retired from international cricket in 2022 due to concerns about the team environment.
The squad, led by Hayley Matthews, features four changes from their last T20I series in Sri Lanka. Alongside Dottin, the team welcomes Ashmini Munisar, Mandy Mangru, and uncapped player Nerissa Crafton. Players who were part of the Sri Lanka series but are not included in the World Cup squad are Cherry Ann-Fraser, Rashada Williams, Shabika Gajnabi, and Kate Wilmott.
