[Saba Sports News] After 47 matches in the ICC Cricket World Cup 2023, we have finally got our finalists.
It is going be the Clash of the Gladiators with India and Australia getting ready to face-off in the ODI World Cup 2023 final, scheduled on November 19 at the Narendra Modi Stadium, Ahmedabad.
India defeated New Zealand by 70 runs in the semi final 1 of the ongoing tournament. Centuries from Virat Kohli and Shreyas Iyer powered them to a mammoth total of 397 runs batting first, while Mohammad Shami wreaked havoc with the ball and bagged a seven-for to win the match for India.
As for Australia, they fought in a closely-contested affair with South Africa. A thoroughly professional bowling performance from their side witnessed the Proteas folding for 212 runs. South Africa give it their all while defending the total but Australia got over the line in the end, winning by three wickets.
Rohit Sharma and Co. are undefeated in the tournament, while the Kangaroos are marching on an eight-match winning streak.
India have not won an ODI World Cup since 2011. Australia last won in 2015. They will be playing their eighth ODI World Cup final.
The two bests teams of the competition are in the final, and all we know is that a riveting, action-packed encounter awaits.
