[Saba Sports News] In the 12th round of the Premier
League, Brighton played a 1-1 draw at home against the relegation-threatened
team Sheffield United. The match was filled with controversy. Brighton
midfielder Mahmoud Dahoud was shown a red card for stamping on his opponent’s
ankle. Coach Roberto De Zerbi believed that the referee’s decision was unjust
and was also given a yellow card for his protests. Following the game, De Zerbi
continued his criticism of the referees, openly stating that he dislikes 80% of
the Premier League referees. These remarks have caught the attention of the
Football Association, which will initiate an investigation. De Zerbi could
potentially face fines or a suspension. Since his arrival in England, De Zerbi
has frequently expressed his dissatisfaction with referees, resulting in a poor
reputation among Premier League officials.
