[Saba Sports News] In the IPL 2024 clash between Delhi Capitals (DC) and Chennai Super Kings (CSK) in Visakhapatnam, DC opener David Warner showcased his exceptional form with a magnificent half-century. Partnering with Prithvi Shaw, Warner initiated DC’s innings with a blazing 52 off 35 balls, featuring five fours and three sixes.
A notable highlight was Warner’s stunning shot in the third over, where he smashed a towering six off Deepak Chahar. Shaw also contributed significantly, scoring 43 runs off 27 balls, including four fours and two sixes. Shaw’s inclusion in the team proved fruitful, replacing Ricky Bhui as an opener, while Mitchell Marsh shifted to number three.
Despite a brief setback with three wickets falling in five overs, DC’s innings was resurrected by captain Rishabh Pant, who scored a crucial half-century (51 off 32), leading DC to finish at 191/5 in 20 overs.
