Sports News] According to recent reports from French media, Didier Deschamps,
the current coach of the French national team, will personally attend the first
leg of the Champions League quarter-finals between Paris Saint-Germain and
Barcelona. His objective is to closely observe the performance of French
internationals participating in the match. Both teams boast several French
international players. Paris Saint-Germain features Kylian Mbappe, Lucas Hernandez,
Randal Kolo Muani, Masour Ousmane Dembele, Zaire-Warren Zaire-Emery, and the
promising young player Bradley Barcola, all of whom are garnering attention.
Barcelona, on the other hand, has Jules Kounde, and his showdown with Mbappe
promises to be a highlight of the match. As a highly accomplished coach,
Deschamps has previously managed Monaco, Juventus, Marseille, and the French
national team. He has secured various championships, including Ligue 1, the
French League Cup, and the French Super Cup. Since July 8, 2012, Deschamps has
held the position of head coach for the French national team, leading them to
victory in the 2018 World Cup. He holds the distinction of being the third
person in history to win the World Cup as both a player and a head coach. Furthermore,
he recently guided the French team to triumph in the 2022 UEFA Nations League
championship.
