[Saba Sports News] Following
the recently concluded Abu Dhabi Grand Prix, the Red Bull Racing team once
again secured a predictable victory and clinched the championship. In a recent
interview with the media, Eddie Jordan, the former owner of the Jordan F1 team
and a renowned figure in Formula 1, expressed his perspective on the current
state of the sport. He openly stated that Formula 1 has become extremely boring
as there is often no suspense in the races. It has become almost predictable
that Max Verstappen of the Red Bull team will reach the finish line first, as
the races have been dominated by Red Bull. Eddie remarked, “As time goes
on, Verstappen will become the greatest driver in history. He is truly
exceptional. But I have to tell you, I haven’t enjoyed the last few races; I
find them quite dull. He is just that good, and under his dominance, the races
have become unexciting.” The author of this article agrees with Eddie’s
assessment. Over the past two seasons, Verstappen has been the driving force in
Formula 1. He won 15 out of 22 races in 2022 and has already won 6 out of the
first 8 races this season. All the race victories have belonged to the Red Bull
team, shifting the focus of attention to the suspense of who will come in
second place.
