[Saba Sports News] In the 9th round of the Premier
League, Chelsea faced Arsenal at home and the match ended in a 2-2 draw. During
the game, Chelsea had a penalty kick opportunity. Raheem Sterling took the ball
with the intention of executing the penalty. However, Enzo Fernandez intervened
and informed Sterling that Cole Palmer was the designated penalty taker for the
team. Fortunately, this dispute didn’t affect Cole Palmer’s composure, and he
successfully converted the penalty. Some fans expressed the opinion that
Sterling should not contest the penalty since the team had already assigned the
primary penalty taker. They believed that doing so could disrupt the team’s
dynamics, unless the overall situation of the match had been firmly
established, allowing the primary penalty taker to voluntarily relinquish the
opportunity.
