[Saba Sports News] Concerns arose among fans when Erling Haaland, the forward for Manchester City, was seen limping out of a training session with the Norwegian national team. Haaland had been substituted during Manchester City’s FA Cup victory over Newcastle United, leading to suspicions of an injury. However, Manchester City manager Josep Guardiola played down any worries about Haaland’s health. Guardiola stated, “Now Haaland is no longer our player; the decision lies with the Norwegian national team. They are aware of the effort and training he has put in to reach his current position, requiring a lot of adrenaline and concentration. Norway knows that the upcoming matches are only friendlies, and they have to handle the situation wisely. Hopefully, they can do so.” Haaland has already experienced a foot injury this season, which kept him sidelined for over two months. Fortunately, the Norwegian team doctor confirmed in an interview with the media that Haaland is in good condition. This news undoubtedly comes as a relief for Manchester City.
