[Saba Sports News] According to British media reports, Everton fans
are organizing a protest during an upcoming Premier League match to express
their dissatisfaction with the Premier League’s decision to impose a 10-point
penalty on the club. Reports suggest that Everton supporters have raised over
£30,000 in preparation for the protest. The fans plan to create banners, flags,
and distribute leaflets to voice their anger regarding the Premier League’s
actions. The protest will not be limited to Goodison Park, Everton’s home
stadium. A fan group called 1878 has announced their intention to arrange for a
plane to fly over the stadium carrying a special message for the Premier League.
However, due to Everton’s match against Manchester United scheduled for 16:30
on the same day, the fans have decided to redirect the plane to fly over the
Etihad Stadium during Manchester City’s game against Liverpool on Saturday. It
remains to be seen how other fans will react to this planned protest.
