[Saba Sports News] Kysre Gondrezick has once again voiced her criticism against the Manhattan District Attorney’s Office, accusing them of propagating misleading narratives in the case involving Kevin Porter Jr. She reaffirmed that Porter never assaulted her, alleging that the D.A.’s office distorted evidence to fit their narrative.
Gondrezick clarified that her eye injury resulted from a fall where she hit a wall, not from any violence by Porter, contradicting the official statement. She highlighted an initial claim that Porter strangled her and caused a neck fracture, which was later attributed to a congenital condition.
The 26-year-old shared that she provided her version of events to the authorities a week after Porter’s arrest, but it was ignored as it conflicted with their established story. She mentioned receiving an apology from a supervisor in the D.A.’s office over the phone for the misleading narratives.
Gondrezick emphasized that her public statements are not to protect Porter but to defend her own integrity and reputation. She recounted the incident, explaining she was abruptly woken up by Porter, leading to her falling and hitting her head against a wall. The physical evidence in her room, including makeup smears and blood, supports her account, she claims.
Her attorney, Bobby Altchiler, criticized the D.A.’s office for not publicly acknowledging their mistake, suggesting that this prolonged situation fuels speculation that Gondrezick was bribed to defend Porter. Altchiler stressed that she never accused Porter of hitting her.
This case has taken a perplexing turn, leaving many uncertain about the truth. Meanwhile, Porter faces a potential seven-year prison sentence if convicted of the strangulation charge, despite Gondrezick’s clarifications and the disproving of some initial allegations.
