[Saba Sports News] In the ICC ODI bowlers’ rankings before the ICC Cricket World Cup 2023 semi-finals, South Africa’s Keshav Maharaj has overtaken India’s Mohammed Siraj for the top spot. Maharaj now leads with 726 ratings, while Siraj is second with 723. Maharaj’s performance in the tournament includes 14 wickets in nine innings, an average of 24.71, and an economy rate of 4.37. His best figures, 4/46, came against New Zealand in Pune.
Maharaj also contributed with the bat, notably against Pakistan in Chennai. Meanwhile, Siraj has taken 12 wickets at an average of 28.83 and an economy of 5.20. Jasprit Bumrah and Kuldeep Yadav have also risen in the rankings, now at fourth and fifth places, respectively.
In the ODI batters’ rankings, Shubman Gill remains on top with 832 ratings, followed by Pakistan’s Babar Azam and South Africa’s Quinton de Kock. Virat Kohli has dropped to the fourth spot with 772 ratings. This shift in rankings reflects the dynamic performances of players in the ongoing World Cup.
