[Saba Sports News] Team India returns to T20 cricket on Sunday with a three-match series against Bangladesh.
India recently secured a 2-0 Test series win, with standout performances in Kanpur drawing praise from fans and experts.
As the focus shifts to T20s, stars like captain Suryakumar Yadav and Hardik Pandya, who weren’t part of the Test squad, are set to return.
Hardik was spotted practicing with a red ball, fueling speculation about his Test comeback. However, former wicketkeeper Parthiv Patel clarified that a white ball was unavailable, prompting him to bowl with the red.
During a training session in Gwalior, Hardik had an intense workout under bowling coach Morne Morkel’s watchful eye. Reports suggest Morkel offered feedback on Hardik’s release point and approach, which the all-rounder took in stride.
Primarily a T20 player lately, Hardik missed the recent ODI series against Sri Lanka. He last played an ODI during the World Cup, where an injury ruled him out.
After the T20 series, India will host New Zealand for three Tests in Bengaluru, Pune, and Mumbai, marking the return of Rohit Sharma and Virat Kohli, both retired from T20s.
