[Saba Sports News] The NBA has handed down penalties following the altercation between the Houston Rockets and the Utah Jazz on Saturday. Jazz guard Kris Dunn has been suspended for two games without pay for his involvement in a scuffle with Rockets forward Jabari Smith Jr., who is also suspended for one game without pay.
Dunn will be eligible to return on March 29, coincidentally against the Rockets, while Smith can return on March 27 against Oklahoma City.
The incident occurred during the second quarter of Houston’s 147-119 victory, resulting in both players being ejected from the game after exchanging punches. This altercation comes amidst Houston’s recent streak of aggressive play, highlighted by another player’s ejection in a previous game against Chicago.
