[Saba Sports News] According to reports, British
tycoon Sir Jim Ratcliffe is on the verge of acquiring a 25% share in Manchester
United, which would grant him control over the club’s football operations.
However, the “Daily Mail” has revealed that Ratcliffe has ruled out
plans to construct a new stadium worth £1.5 billion. Instead, he has pledged to
invest £245 million to enhance the club’s infrastructure and modernise the
Carrington training ground. Old Trafford, once the most iconic stadium in
England, has suffered from neglect over the years, with issues including roof
leaks and outdated facilities.
