Bavuma’s significant contribution came in a vital match against the Paarl Royals on February 4, 2024, at St George’s Park, Gqeberha. His team pursued a 160-run target on a tricky pitch, and Bavuma’s steady 33 off 30 balls was crucial in clinching a win for the defending champions.
Aiden Markram, the captain of Sunrisers Eastern Cape, expressed great pride in making it to the final, attributing the team’s success to their hard work and the intense competition.
