Sports News] Spanish media reports indicate that Valencia have refused to
cooperate with Netflix in the filming of a documentary about Vinicius Junior.
It is reported that Real Madrid is scheduled to play an away match against
Valencia in the 27th round of La Liga. The Netflix film crew expressed their
desire to capture the live game and submitted a request to enter Mestalla
Stadium for filming purposes. However, Valencia declined the request.
Valencia’s decision is based on their assessment that there is no benefit in
allowing Netflix’s camera crew inside the stadium. They are concerned that even
if the majority of the 49,999 fans in attendance behave appropriately, the
actions of a single individual could potentially be used by the Netflix
platform to generalize and cast a negative light on the entire Valencia fan
base. Initially, Valencia had permitted Netflix to enter the stadium for filming,
but they now prefer to express their views in the documentary without granting
access to the camera crew. La Liga respects Valencia’s stance in this matter
and, in fact, they also share concerns about the presence of cameras inside the
stadium, as they are aware of the specific elements being sought by the
cameras.
