Sports News] The controversy surrounding Christian Horner, team principal of
F1’s Red Bull Racing, continues to circulate within the sport. Amidst these
ongoing rumors, Jos Verstappen, father of Red Bull Racing driver Max
Verstappen, addressed his son’s alleged involvement in a power struggle in a
recent media interview. Verstappen’s father dismissed the rumors, stating,
“I cannot provide too many details. My hope is that they can quickly
refocus on racing because that’s what Red Bull is all about. The most important
thing is for Verstappen to keep winning, regardless of any other factors. The
car is performing exceptionally well, and there are no issues between him and
the engineers.” Jos Verstappen, a former Dutch F1 driver who was once
Michael Schumacher’s teammate, retired from racing to dedicate his energy to
training his son, Max Verstappen. Under his guidance, Max began karting at the
age of 4 and went on to become the youngest-ever champion in high-level karting
at 16. At the age of 17, Max made his debut in F1, representing Toro Rosso and
becoming the youngest driver in the history of the sport.
