Sports News] Ever since Lewis Hamilton announced his intention to join Ferrari
after the current season, there has been ongoing speculation and discussion
surrounding the decision. During a recent interview at the Australian Grand
Prix, Mercedes team principal Toto Wolff commented on Hamilton’s move to
Ferrari, injecting some lighthearted banter into the conversation. Wolff
playfully remarked, “First of all, I can’t imagine him wearing a red
jersey. I don’t think red suits him, which is why I understand his desire to go
a different way. Secondly, considering the evident advantages of Mercedes’ new
car compared to Ferrari’s, I hope we can surpass him on the track in the
future.” It is worth noting that despite this public exchange, Hamilton
and Wolff share a close personal relationship, having both joined the Mercedes
team in the same year. Together, they have achieved great success, securing six
Formula 1 World Drivers’ Championships and eight consecutive team championships
from 2014 to 2021.
