Sports News] In the recent Serie A match between Milan and Lazio, Milan emerged
victorious with a 1-0 away win. During the game, AC Milan player Christian
Pulisic scored a goal against Pellegrini. Following a red card incident,
Pellegrini intended to put the ball out of play to halt the game temporarily.
However, Pulisic seemed unaware of this and chose to try and steal the ball. In
doing so, he was fouled by Pellegrini, resulting in a red card being shown to
Pellegrini. This incident caused significant dissatisfaction among the Lazio
fans who believed that Pulisic’s actions were deliberate. After the match,
Pulisic’s personal social media accounts were targeted by extreme Lazio fans.
He received intimidating messages and even death threats in his private message
inbox. In response to these incidents, AC Milan officials expressed their
support for Pulisic, stating, “We are with you.” AC Milan coach
Stefano Pioli also defended Pulisic, stating that the player respected the
rules and that he disagreed with the notion that Pulisic’s actions were
unethical. Pioli emphasized that Pulisic played until the referee blew the
whistle, as per the rules of the game.
